QUALIFICATIONS
Organised jam format.
Contestants start with introductory 30-second cruise and follow with 4 min jam format / 4 skaters in jam.

Each skater has 2 individual 1-minute runs (best run counts).
BMX PARK & STREET CONTEST
QUALIFICATIONS
All contestants are divided into jam groups of 4 riders.
Park and street will be judged in separate classes and ride separately.
Qualifications start off with warm-ups.
Riders take turns in 8-minute jam sessions –
each rider in a jam group gets 2 roughly 1-minute runs (2 min total).
BMX STREET FINALS
12 best street riders qualify for the Finals.

each rider in a jam group gets 3 roughly 1-minute runs (3 min total).
Every run will be scored, but counting will only be the best 2 runs – 1 run is a scratch (will not count).

12 best park riders qualify for the Finals.

JUDGING CRITERIA AND RESULTS
The skateboarding and BMX jury will both consist of five international experts in the disciplines.
The riders and skaters will be judged on:
– flow
– style
– creativity
– use of course
– amplitude/height
– number of tricks shown in their run
– originality
– difficulty of tricks
– crashes/foot-downs/perfect runs
– NBD’s
– consistency
– variety of tricks
– control of tricks
– bike/skateboard control
– landings
– execution
Simple Session features a LIVE scoring system, which can be followed on the screen at the venue as well as the broadcast.
